Project Description
Phoenix Girl by Kick Ass Flaming Skull by Tom Ross is the artwork that inspired me. Tom Ross created a tutorial on photo manipulation on fire. I was just in awe with his work. I decided to try it for myself. I decided to go for a phoenix theme. I ended up making a girl rise from ash. It was a fun side project I made. I used many photos of fire from my father and the internet. My father is a photographer. With those many photos, I was able to overlap many fires to create a fire effect. I also used the easer tool to create an ash effect. The combination of using Photoshop and Illustrator to create the beauty of photo manipulation was a fun project to learn.
